THE BASILICA OF BOM JESUS Church construction was started in 1594 AD and completed in 1605 AD.
It is a fine place to visit in Goa, India. I happened to be there in November 2013.

The carvings, statues are excellent.
Calm and peaceful atmosphere is very appealing.
Statues of all important saints are arranged in chronological order.
One of the main attractions is the mummified body of saint Francis Xavier.

Next hall is full of life history of ST. Xavier.
The most important thing is the sound and lite presentation. This is about 20 minutes. It explains the life history of Lord Jesus almost like a real 3D way.The most appealing thing is that the ground will shake really, when we will be seeing crucifixion of Jesus! All of us must see this super effect.
Finally, at the end of the show, Jesus will rise from the dead and speak superb things.The church is getting renovated for the coming Christmas Day
