Nissan bags 6,000 pre-bookings for Terrano

The Terrano is poised to set the pace for the brand’s upcoming lineup for the year 2014.
Nissan India has received a very positive response from potential buyers for their latest offering, the Terrano. According to the brand, the compact SUV has received 6,000 pre-bookings since the unveiling which took place last month.
Loosely based on the Renault Duster, the Terrano is manufactured at the Oragadam facility in Chennai alongside the Duster. The SUV is quite an important product for Nissan and is poised to set the pace for the brand’s upcoming lineup for the year 2014.
Launched with a starting price of 9.58 lakh, the Terrano is available in 5 trim levels and two engine options. The petrol range is powered by a 1.6-litre engine producing 104PS of power and 145Nm of torque. The diesel models, on the other hand, feature the popular 1.5-litre K9K diesel with two different state of tunes. There’s the standard 85PS, 200Nm version and the more powerful 110PS, 250Nm version.
